Wrath of the Lich King Classic will be based with WoTLK Gold the latest patch of an original release of Wrath of the Lich King although it has some slight changes. There won't be an automatic dungeon searcher, for first of all, and it's not clear if the game will include quest tracking at launch or not.

In an official press release, Blizzard has confirmed that it will offer paid-level 70 character enhancements as well as cosmetics for Wrath of the Lich King Classic but hasn't yet revealed what the items will be. Blizzard also did something similar to the release of Burning Crusade Classic, offering an deluxe digital edition for $70 that offered a character increase and a unique mount, 30 days of game play time, and much more.

Much like for previous WoW Classic expansions, Wrath of the Lich King Classic is included at no cost to players who subscribe to the game's monthly subscriptionthat gives the access to WoW Classic servers and WoW Classic, the most modern version of the game.

The new expansion for the new edition of WoW, Dragonflight, is anticipated to be released by the closing of the year and will bring a new continent, class, and modifications to the game's skill and profession system.
